Black Cat White Cat
Photoshop
July 2007

I was inspired by the aesthetics of Japanese Gothic dolls, and tried to create a kind of an ' alive-still life'
sweet yet slightly disturbing atmosphere.
I painted it from a scanned sketch I prepared a while before, and worked from that point solely in Photoshop.
I used several references loosely, mainly for the white cat and the embracing arms.
I'm adding a small 'in the making' image.
hope you like it

oh, the most difficult part by far were the shoes... the perspective was cruel ; ;
