It's been a while since I've posted anything new.
This image was mainly painted as an experiment with textures but turned out much more challenging in terms of composition.

I'm sure dolls dream with open eyes. I wanted to give the impression of her dreaming lying down motionless, maybe on some shelf or a sofa, and yet still floating in the night sky of her dream.
Drawing her lying down yet floating turned out more challenging than I thought. And since dolls are stiff, gravity will work differently than on a human model. I was constantly flipping the drawing in all directions while working...
